About Project

“MISSING” is an iPadOS-based game that immerses players into an enigmatic world filled with hidden surprises and perplexing puzzles. Players take on the role of a female student who must navigate through the ruins of her school to uncover a missing piece of history. The source code can be accessed on my Github.

Context

The narrative of MISSING revolves around a female student who becomes immersed in the past, where she must uncover the hidden secrets of her school’s lost history. She needs to solve all the riddles to escape, or she will be trapped forever. MISSING offers a blend of progression, competition, storytelling, engaging assets, unpredictability, clear objectives, addictive gameplay, a sense of accomplishment, and various challenges.

My Role and Responsibilities

In this project, I served as the Researcher, iOS Developer, and Tech Lead, with the following key responsibilities:

  1. Conducted research initiatives to gather insights on the Mechanics-Dynamics-Aesthetics (MDA) framework and comparable games.
  2. Contributed to the development of the storyline and puzzle design.
  3. Managed and assigned development tasks to the iOS development team using agile methodologies.
